Our Story

HOW ASHES TO GLORY BEGAN
In 2008, our lives were turned upside down when our son fell into addiction—a crisis that sent shockwaves through our entire family.
But in the midst of the pain, we found hope at a Christ-centered treatment center — one that not only helped restore our son but also sparked healing throughout our entire family.
The experience was life-changing, but the high cost of quality care opened our eyes to a heartbreaking reality: many families simply can't afford the help they desperately need. Through a series of powerful “God moments,” we felt called to do something—and Ashes to Glory Foundation was born.
Ashes to Glory Foundation exists to bridge the financial gap for families seeking Christ-centered, life-transforming therapy. What began as a mission to help families battling substance addiction has grown to include those facing a wide range of struggles—trauma, pornography and sexual addiction, technology addiction, eating disorders, and more.
The need is overwhelming. Every year, we receive far more applications than we can fund. But we continue to trust God to provide and expand our reach.
We are humbled to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus, helping families find hope, healing, and restoration. Will you partner with us in this mission? Together, we can bring beauty from ashes—one family at a time.

I was blessed to grow up in a God-honoring home with loving parents and two older siblings. But like every family, we faced our own challenges. From a young age, I struggled with a deep fear of rejection and failure.
Over time, these fears took root—especially in my spiritual life—where I came to believe the lie that perfection was the mark of a true Christian.
During high school, I began to rebel—first against my family, then my church, and ultimately, against God. I surrounded myself with the wrong crowd, and before long, I was relying on substances to numb the pain and shame I didn’t know how to confront. Eventually, at my lowest point, I agreed to seek help.
That decision led me to a Christ-centered treatment program where the real issues I had been burying finally came to light. It was there that my healing journey began—with myself, my family, and most importantly, with Jesus Christ. It hasn’t been an easy road, but it’s one that has grounded me deeply in my faith. I can confidently say I would not be the man I am today without the high-quality, clinical counseling I received—counseling that was fully rooted in a Christ-centered worldview.
Today, I’m walking in freedom and passionate about helping others break free from the chains of addiction and trauma to discover their true purpose in our Creator. I’m incredibly proud of my parents for answering God’s call to establish the Ashes to Glory Foundation, and I’m honored to help carry forward the mission they began.
I invite you to join us in this life-changing work.
