How are recipients selected?
Every application goes through a careful review process to ensure donor dollars support those with genuine need and real readiness for change. Applicants submit a detailed form covering personal, spiritual, and financial information, followed by a phone call with our team.
We base decisions on two key factors:
- Verified Financial Need – We confirm that cost is a genuine barrier, and that the applicant has some personal skin in the game.
- Strong Support System – Lasting recovery doesn’t happen in isolation. We look for family, church, or community support that will surround the person through and after treatment.
Our goal is to steward every gift with wisdom and integrity, funding people who are positioned for real, lasting transformation.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes! Ashes to Glory Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
How much of my gift goes directly to families?
