Our Story
HOW ASHES TO GLORY BEGAN
Over 16 years ago, our world was turned upside down when we faced the despair of our son’s addiction, causing ripple effects throughout our entire family.
We found hope in a Christ-centered treatment center that transformed not only our son, but kickstarted the healing journey for our entire family. Burdened by the high cost of quality care, we felt called through a series of “God moments” to found Ashes to Glory Foundation to raise funds for families needing access to the life-changing therapy that blessed us.
Unaware of what God had in store, we quickly found the need to be endless and growing exponentially. We receive far more applications than we have the funds to support, and what started as a simple foundation focused on family transformation from substance addiction, today has grown to also include destructive behaviors rooted in trauma, pornography, sexual and technology addictions, eating disorders, and more.
We are humbled by the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus by creating financial bridges for families seeking transformation, and we invite you to partner with us on this mission!
HOW ATGF CHANGED MY LIFE
I was blessed to be raised in a God-honoring family, with loving parents and 2 older siblings. However, we still had our challenges. At a young age, I developed a strong fear of rejection and fear of failure.
This took root in multiple areas, most prominently in my spiritual life with the false belief that perfection defined a true Christian. During my high school years I started to rebel strongly against my family, my church, and ultimately God. I found myself running in the wrong crowds, culminating in a dependance on substances to escape the hurt and shame I was trying to suppress. At my lowest point, I finally agreed to get help.
While in a Christ-centered treatment program, the root issues I was facing came to light and I started the journey of healing with myself, my entire family, and most importantly, Jesus Christ. The journey has not been easy, but I am stronger and more rooted in my faith as a result. I would not be the man I am today without the high-quality, clinical counseling I received, all from a Christ-centered worldview.
Today, I am walking in freedom and passionate about helping others escape the bonds of destructive behaviors and find their true purpose in our Creator. I could not be more proud of my parents for answering His call to found the Ashes to Glory Foundation, and am honored to carry on the mission they started.
I invite you to partner with us!
