Our Story

In 2008, our lives were turned upside down when our son fell into addiction, a crisis that sent shockwaves through our entire family.

But in the midst of the pain, we found hope at a Christ-centered treatment center, one that not only helped restore our son but also sparked healing throughout our entire family.

The experience was life-changing, but the high cost of quality care opened our eyes to a heartbreaking reality: many families simply can't afford the help they desperately need. Through a series of powerful “God moments,” we felt called to do something—and Ashes to Glory Foundation was born.

Ashes to Glory Foundation exists to bridge the financial gap for families seeking clinically excellent, Christ-centered therapy. What began as a mission to help families battling substance addiction has grown to include those facing a wide range of struggles: trauma, pornography and sexual addiction, technology addiction, eating disorders, and more.

The need is overwhelming. Every year, we receive far more applications than we can fund. But we continue to trust God to provide and expand our reach.

We are humbled to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus, helping families find hope, healing, and restoration. Will you partner with us in this mission? Together, we can bring beauty from ashes, one family at a time.

I was blessed to grow up in a God-honoring home with loving parents and two older siblings. But like every family, we faced our own challenges. From a young age, I struggled with a deep fear of rejection and failure.

Over time, those fears took root—especially in my faith. I came to believe the lie that being a true Christian meant being perfect.

In high school, I started to drift. First from my family, then my church, and eventually from God. I surrounded myself with the wrong crowd, and before long, I was using substances to numb pain and shame I didn’t know how to face. Eventually, I hit a point where I agreed to get help.

That decision led me to a Christ-centered treatment program where the things I had been burying finally came to the surface. That’s where healing really began—for me, for my family, and most importantly, in my relationship with Jesus.

It hasn’t been easy, but it changed everything. My faith became real and steady in a way it hadn’t been before. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without the clinical counseling I received—care that was grounded in a Christ-centered worldview.

Today, I’m walking in freedom and passionate about helping others find the same. I’ve seen what’s possible when people get the right help with Christ at the center. I’m incredibly proud of my parents for saying yes when God called them to start Ashes to Glory, and I’m honored to carry this mission forward.

I invite you to be part of this work.
